You already use ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude at work. That means Article 4 already applies to you.

Since 2 February 2025, every company whose AI output is used in the EU must give staff a “sufficient level of AI literacy.” The catch:

  • The regulator deliberately didn't say how many hours, which curriculum, or what counts as “sufficient.”
  • Consultants quote €3,000–5,000 for what should be a set of templates.
  • From 2 August 2026, national authorities can supervise and fine — up to €7.5M or 1% of global turnover.

This kit is the ready-made answer: everything Article 4 expects, written for a non-lawyer to deploy over a weekend.

Three things — and the kit covers all three

📄

1. A written AI-use policy

Which tools are allowed, what data may never be entered, who is responsible. 2–3 pages, not 50.

🎓

2. Staff training by role

Proportional to each role's risk — leadership, HR, marketing, developers, customer service.

🗂️

3. A record that proves it

Attendance, a quiz, certificates, an audit one-pager. Compliance is proven by documentation.

Seven ready-to-use documents

Editable formats. Fill the blanks, deliver the training, keep the folder. Languages: English (DE / FR / ES / IT on request).

FAQ

Does Article 4 really apply to my company?
If your staff use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) and your output reaches the EU — yes. The duty is extraterritorial, like GDPR. It has applied since 2 February 2025.
Is this legal advice or an official certification?
No. This is educational material and editable templates that help you meet Article 4's requirements. It is not legal advice, creates no lawyer-client relationship, and is not an official certificate of compliance. You remain responsible for your own compliance; consult a qualified lawyer for your specific situation.
How long does it take to deploy?
A weekend. Step 1: customise the policy and inventory. Step 2: deliver the ~60–90 min training and run the quiz. Step 3: record it — attendance log, certificates, audit one-pager. The Start-Here guide walks you through all three.
What format are the files in?
Editable documents (policy, deck, sheets) plus printable PDFs. You fill in placeholders and brand them as your own.
How do I pay, and is VAT handled?
Checkout is via a Merchant of Record, which collects and remits EU VAT for you and sends a proper invoice. Card payment, instant download.
Will it stay up to date?
The Act evolves (codes of practice, guidance). Optional update subscriptions are available so your kit stays current.

The deadline is fixed. The fix is one download away.
